Dark beer

Its ok fellas, if your cutting back on beer because your girlfriend told you your getting a beer gut, well toss that out the window and sit down on synday and crack open a beer, a DARK beer to be exact. Studies show just like drinking red wine, that dark beer can have health benefits. A study at tufts university s said that dark beer protects bone mineral density by facilitating the deposit of calcium and other minerals into bone tissue. The same article said that "one brew a day for women and two for men provide flavonoids, antioxidants that help prevent clogged arteries and reduce the risk of heart disease by preventing the oxidation of cholesterol and the subsequent hardening of the arteries". So if your a huge Guinness fan like i am you should like this article. But if not then have some dark beer next time cause remember, in moderation dark beer can be good for your health.

whats the deal with "dark" products! dark chocolate and dark beer, its all good. I'm glad i have proof now. it is also interesting the amount of "good" that it can do for you, especially coming from such a "dangerous" beverage. good to know

Although I heard that dark beer had health benefits before, I didn't kno it had that many. I found this blog to be really interesting even though I don't particularly like beer the majority of my family and friends do. Although there's a new story about health benefits and negative affects of alcohol, its always worth a try. By the way, I also heard the guiness has iron in it which could be very useful for vegetarians!
